Here are some challenging puzzles for grandparents and grandchildren to try. Work together to figure them out!

Sometimes when we look at things, we don't look as closely as we should. Look carefully at each of the puzzles on the sheet below. How many squares can you find in Figure 1? How many rectangles can you find? How many triangles can you find in Figure 2? How many triangles can you find in Figure 3? Be careful: bigger shapes may be made up of smaller shapes and will increase your total!
